Candle Care & Safety

To ensure a safe and enjoyable burning experience, please follow these steps:

TRIM IT. TRIM IT GOOD: Before each and every burn, trim your wick to 1/4 inch. Keeping it short will help avoid mushrooming and oversized, dancing flames.

KEEP IT CLEAN: Always keep your candle container free of wick trimmings, matches, and debris. ALWAYS!

GIVE IT TIME...BUT NOT TOO MUCH: On the first burn allow the melt pool to reach the edge of the jar, which will usually take about 3-4 hours. Doing so will prevent tunneling and promotes an even burn for the remainder of the candle's life. But, never burn for more than 4 hours at a time.

KEEP IT COMPANY: Candles don't like to be left alone while they're burning. They want to be noticed and appreciated. If you have to leave the room, extinguish the flame first.

GIVE IT SPACE: Keep candles at least one foot away from anything that can burn, and even further from flammables. Also, never touch a burning candle, or move it while the wax is in liquid form.

KNOW WHEN TO PART WAYS: We understand you want to enjoy every last bit of your candle. Burning a candle until it extinguishes itself is very dangerous! Be prepared to say goodbye to your candle when about 1/2" of wax remains.
